Each model is a California-built Latham shell, installed by a Latham Grand Dealer to Latham’s spec — which keeps the limited lifetime structural warranty valid. Our licensed crew sets the shell in one day, and most families swim 2–4 weeks after the dig. Each model’s starting price is printed on its own model page, and it is the number your written estimate opens with. The range narrows to one exact written number after a free site visit. That is where we check the three things a website can't: crane access, soil, and the options you actually want.
A real number also protects you. California law caps our down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000. We bill only after work is done. And the estimate you sign is itemized the way you'll be billed. If a pool company won't show you prices until they've “qualified” you — ask yourself why.
California protects pool buyers — and we follow the law to the letter
Under California law (Business & Professions Code §7159), a licensed contractor may collect a down payment of no more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. So no matter the size of your project, we will never ask for more than $1,000 down. And we only bill for work after it is done. If any pool company asks you for a 20–50% deposit up front, that is a red flag. It’s also illegal.

Is the 60-second estimate a real quote?
It's a real starting point, not a teaser. The range is built from the turnkey starting prices of the models that match your answers. They are the same numbers printed on every model page, and the same numbers our written estimates open with. Your exact quote comes from a free site visit, in writing, before you commit to anything.
Why do I get a range instead of one number?
Because several models fit most answers. Pick one model on the lineup page and you'll see its own starting price, alongside everything that model includes.
What can move the final number?
Three things, and we check all of them at the free site visit: crane access to the yard, the soil, and the options you add (decking beyond the included 3' band, lighting, heating, covers — each one its own line on your written estimate). Standard shell freight is already included across our core service zone.
How much do I have to put down?
Never more than $1,000. California law (B&P §7159) caps a contractor's down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000. We bill only after work is done.
Can I see a monthly payment instead?
