How much does a pool cost in Selma?
Our Latham fiberglass pools start at from $39,995 turnkey installed — and unlike most builders, we publish the starting price of all 61 models. Custom gunite starts around $46,900, with a standard 15'×30' at about $52,350. See the Pool Cost Guide.
How long does a pool build take in Selma?
Fiberglass: most installs run 2–4 weeks once permits are in hand — the shell itself sets in a single day. Custom gunite: typically 8–12 weeks. Permit timelines vary by jurisdiction; we run that process for you.
Who pulls the permits?
We do. Pool plans and permitting are included in every turnkey price — you don't stand in any lines.
How much do I have to put down?
Never more than $1,000. California law (B&P §7159) caps a contractor's down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000 — and we only bill for work after it's completed.
How do I know you're legit?
Check, don't trust: CSLB license #1139527 (C-53 + C-61/D-35) is current and active — verify it on the state's site. We carry a $25,000 contractor's bond, a $100,000 LLC employee/worker bond, $3,000,000 in liability insurance and workers' comp. Full credentials →
California protects pool buyers — and we follow the law to the letter
Under California law (Business & Professions Code §7159), a licensed contractor may collect a down payment of no more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. That means no matter the size of your project, we will never ask for more than $1,000 down — and we only bill for work after it is completed. If any pool company asks you for a 20–50% deposit up front, that is a red flag. It’s also illegal.
