From First Call to First Swim
Exactly what happens when you buy a pool from us — step by step, with real timelines.
The scariest part of a pool project is not knowing what happens next. So here is the whole path, in order. No step starts until you approve the one before it.
Buyers are told to demand four things from a pool builder. A license. A written, itemized estimate. A schedule up front. A capped down payment. The steps below hand you all four without asking.

Say hello — free
Call or text (559) 544-2345, or send the form. We’ll talk about your yard, your budget and what you actually want. About 20 minutes, no pressure.
Site visit & written estimate
We walk the yard and check access and utilities. Then we hand you a written, itemized estimate with final prices. Want a head start? Browse the model lineup first.
Financing, if you want it
HFS Financial offers fixed rates from 7.8% APR on loans to $450,000, with terms from 1–30 years. Checking your rate is a soft pull. It does not touch your credit score. (Full details on our financing page — after you have your written number.)
Contract — $1,000 down, max
California law caps our down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000 — and we follow it. Progress payments come only after each phase of work is done.
Plans & permits — handled
We draw the pool plans and handle the permits with your city or county. You don’t stand in any lines.
The build
Fiberglass: most installs take 2–4 weeks. The shell sets in one day. Custom gunite: usually 8–12 weeks. Either way, you get a schedule up front and updates as we go. See the full construction process →
Startup & pool school
We fill the pool and balance the water. Then we walk you through every valve, button and setting until you’re comfortable running your own pool.
After the swim
Want it maintained? Our weekly maintenance packages keep the water perfect. One licensed local company builds it, services it and maintains it. Two warranties run alongside that — the shell manufacturer’s and ours on the work — and what each covers, and what keeps it valid, is written out in plain English.
Notice what is missing from that path: no big deposit, no billing ahead of the work, no surprise numbers. Step one costs nothing, and it starts today — either a site visit, or a free twenty-minute design call if you would rather start on the phone.
