Who issues your Kingsburg pool permit
Permits run through the City of Kingsburg or Fresno County. We handle it start to finish. Inside the city limits it's the City of Kingsburg building division. Outside them it's Fresno County. This matters more than people expect. A Kingsburg mailing address does not guarantee a Kingsburg jurisdiction. The wrong counter costs you weeks. We check it by parcel before we draw anything. What the build looks like in Kingsburg
- Free site visit. We drive out from Hanford (21 minutes via 6th Ave). We walk the yard, check crane access and utilities, and hand you a written itemized number. Free.
- Plans & permit. Your permit comes from the City of Kingsburg building division in town, or Fresno County outside the limits. We check the jurisdiction by parcel and pull the permit ourselves. Included.
- Dig & set day. Excavation takes a day or two. Then the shell arrives from Latham’s Williams, CA plant and is craned into place. Hole to pool in one day.
- Plumb, wire, deck, swim. Most Kingsburg fiberglass installs swim 2–4 weeks after the permit lands. Custom gunite runs 8–12.

Who issues the pool permit in Kingsburg?

How far is your crew from Kingsburg?
15.5 mi, about 21 minutes from our shop in Hanford. We serve up to two hours out and schedule closest-first. So Kingsburg sits well inside our normal working radius. And standard shell freight is already included in every published price on this site.
How long does a pool build take in Kingsburg?
Fiberglass: most installs run 2–4 weeks once permits are in hand. The shell itself sets in a single day. Custom gunite: usually 8–12 weeks. Permit timelines vary by jurisdiction. We run that process for you.
How much do I have to put down?
Never more than $1,000. California law (B&P §7159) caps a contractor's down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000. And we only bill for work after it's completed. So the risk sits with us, not with you, until the work is done.
How do I know you're legit?
Check, don't trust. CSLB license #1139527 (C-53 + C-61/D-35) is current and active — verify it on the state's site. We carry a $25,000 contractor's bond and a $100,000 LLC employee/worker bond. We also carry $3,000,000 in liability insurance and workers' comp. Full credentials →
California protects pool buyers — and we follow the law to the letter
Under California law (Business & Professions Code §7159), a licensed contractor may collect a down payment of no more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. So no matter the size of your project, we will never ask for more than $1,000 down. And we only bill for work after it is done. If any pool company asks you for a 20–50% deposit up front, that is a red flag. It’s also illegal.

Commercial pools in Kingsburg
Everything above is residential. An HOA, apartment complex, school or hotel pool is a different job — tighter code, health-department inspection, and downtime that has to be scheduled around residents or guests. The same licence and the same $3,000,000 liability cover it, but the scope and the bid are their own thing: commercial pool contractors for Kingsburg and the Central Valley.

Here is your whole risk. The site visit is free. The written, itemized estimate is free. If you go ahead, California law caps your down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000 — on a pool, that means $1,000 — and we only bill for work after it’s done. Most fiberglass installs swim 2–4 weeks after the permit lands — and the walk that starts it all is free.
