Will the Axiom 14 fit your yard?

The Axiom 14 shell measures 14' x 30' at the water’s edge. With the 3’ of concrete decking that is already in the price on every side, the finished pad is about 20' by 36' — tape that out in the yard first. Then add the setback: every Central Valley jurisdiction sets its own distance from property lines, the house and any easement, and it comes out of the same yard. We pull the number for your address before the site plan is drawn (permits, explained).

In the 2026 California-built lineup the Axiom 14 is a mid-size model: 24 of the other 46 models are longer and 21 hold less water. The shell rides in on one truck from Latham’s Williams, CA plant and is set by crane in a single pick, so what we check on the site visit is where the crane can stand, not whether the gate is wide enough.

Depth, seating and who the Axiom 14 suits

It runs from 4'6" at the entry to 6' at the far end — chest to shoulder deep for most adults, deep enough to feel like real swimming, shallow enough that nobody is out of their depth.

Built into the Axiom 14: swim-up seating along the wall so adults can sit in the water and talk.

Delivery outside the standard freight zone, tight access, tough soil and options are quoted per project. You always get a final written number before you sign anything. Axiom 14 vs. the models next to it

The Axiom 14 is one of 4 Axiom models built in California this year. Same shape language, different size and price:

ModelSizeDepthVolumeInstalled
Axiom 12 Deluxe12' x 26'4' – 4'8" (spa 3')4,400 galfrom $67,995
Axiom 14 Deluxe14' x 30'4'6" – 5'6" (spa 3')5,100 galfrom $79,995
Axiom 1414' x 30'4'6" – 6'8,000 galfrom $67,995
Axiom 1616' x 35'4'6" – 6'6"11,600 galfrom $72,995

Stepping up to the Axiom 16 adds 5' of length and 3,600 gallons for $5,000 more. Against the Axiom 14 Deluxe, the Axiom 14 carries 2,900 more gallons for $12,000 less. Each figure is the installed price, not a shell price, so the gap is real.

Owning an Axiom 14 in the Central Valley

July and August in Hanford sit above 100°F day after day; an uncovered pool here gives up roughly a quarter inch of water a day. On the Axiom 14’s roughly 360 square feet of water surface that is on the order of 60 gallons a day in July — the single best argument for an automatic cover on this model. A cover also holds heat overnight, which matters more on a 8,000-gallon pool than the brochure suggests.

Volume drives running cost. At 8,000 gallons the Axiom 14 needs about the chlorine and acid a typical Valley pool does, and the first fill takes about 15 hours from a garden hose at 500–600 gallons an hour — we start it the day the shell is set and plumbed. Our own Hanford crew handles the install, the permit and, if you want it, the weekly service afterward.

Axiom 14 questions

How much does the Axiom 14 cost installed in Hanford?

The Axiom 14 starts at $67,995 turnkey: excavation, the shell, equipment, plumbing, standard freight, 3’ of concrete decking, plans, permitting and taxes. Central Valley pricing. Prices are subject to change based on distance from Hanford, CA. California law caps the down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000, and we bill only for work that is done.

How big is the Axiom 14, and how much yard does it need?

The shell is 14' x 30' with about 8,000 gallons of water. With the included 3’ deck the footprint is roughly 20' by 36', plus whatever setback your city or county requires from property lines and the house. We confirm the setback and draw the site plan before anything is signed.

How deep is the Axiom 14?

The Axiom 14 runs from 4'6" in the shallow end to 6' at the deep end. Like every fiberglass pool it is not rated for a diving board.

Can I add a tanning ledge or spa to the Axiom 14?

Yes. Neither is molded into this shell, so we build a standalone fiberglass ledge or spa alongside the pool and show it as its own line on the estimate. The upgrade list on this page has the starting prices.

How long does it take to fill the Axiom 14?

About 15 hours for 8,000 gallons from a standard garden hose. We start the fill the day the shell is set and plumbed; most projects go from dig to swim-ready in 2–4 weeks once the permit is in hand.

Backed by Latham. Installed by a Grand Dealer.

Latham Pool Grand Builder seal

Neighborhood Pool Service is a Latham Grand Dealer — the top tier of Latham’s dealer network. Your Axiom 14 ships from Latham’s factory. Our licensed local crew installs it to Latham’s specs (CSLB #1139527, verify). And Latham backs the shell with its limited lifetime structural warranty.

California protects pool buyers — and we follow the law to the letter

Under California law (Business & Professions Code §7159), a licensed contractor may collect a down payment of no more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. So no matter the size of your project, we will never ask for more than $1,000 down. And we only bill for work after it is done. If any pool company asks you for a 20–50% deposit up front, that is a red flag. It’s also illegal.

Get your exact Axiom 14 price

You already know the starting price — it’s printed above. Tell us where the pool is going. We’ll come out, walk the yard, and put a real number in writing. It’s free, and usually done within a couple of days. And if you go ahead, California law caps your down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000.
