Specs come from Latham’s official 2026 catalog. Size and volume may vary up to 3%. Screen colors are close, not exact. We bring real finish and tile samples to every design visit.

Will the Claremont fit your yard?

The Claremont shell measures 14' x 33' at the water’s edge. With the 3’ of concrete decking that is already in the price on every side, the finished pad is about 20' by 39' — tape that out in the yard first. Then add the setback: every Central Valley jurisdiction sets its own distance from property lines, the house and any easement, and it comes out of the same yard. We pull the number for your address before the site plan is drawn (permits, explained).

In the 2026 California-built lineup the Claremont is a mid-size model: 14 of the other 46 models are longer and 34 hold less water. The shell rides in on one truck from Latham’s Williams, CA plant and is set by crane in a single pick, so what we check on the site visit is where the crane can stand, not whether the gate is wide enough.

Depth, seating and who the Claremont suits

It runs from 3'7" at the entry to 5'4" at the far end — chest to shoulder deep for most adults, deep enough to feel like real swimming, shallow enough that nobody is out of their depth.

Built into the Claremont: swim-up seating along the wall so adults can sit in the water and talk, and an auto-cover-ready coping line, so an automatic safety cover fits without a custom track.

Central Valley pricing. Prices are subject to change based on distance from Hanford, CA. “From” prices are full installed prices for a standard site in our Hanford-area service zone. Delivery outside the standard freight zone, tight access, tough soil and options are quoted per project. You always get a final written number before you sign anything. Prices shown are current 2026 factory pricing and can be updated. The price on a model’s page is the number your written estimate opens with.

Claremont vs. the models next to it

The Claremont is a one-of-a-kind shape in the lineup. The two rectangle models closest to it in price:

ModelSizeDepthVolumeInstalled
Tuscan 13.2412'10" x 23'7"3'1" – 5'5"6,100 galfrom $56,995
Delray11'10" x 25'5"4'6" max8,100 galfrom $52,995
Claremont14' x 33'3'7" – 5'4"11,700 galfrom $54,995

Against the Delray, the Claremont carries 3,600 more gallons for $2,000 more. Each figure is the installed price, not a shell price, so the gap is real.

Owning a Claremont in the Central Valley

July and August in Hanford sit above 100°F day after day; an uncovered pool here gives up roughly a quarter inch of water a day. On the Claremont’s roughly 460 square feet of water surface that is on the order of 70 gallons a day in July — the single best argument for an automatic cover on this model (the shell is already cut for one). A cover also holds heat overnight, which matters more on a 11,700-gallon pool than the brochure suggests.

Volume drives running cost. At 11,700 gallons the Claremont needs about the chlorine and acid a typical Valley pool does, and the first fill takes about 21 hours from a garden hose at 500–600 gallons an hour — we start it the day the shell is set and plumbed. Our own Hanford crew handles the install, the permit and, if you want it, the weekly service afterward.

Claremont questions

How much does the Claremont cost installed in Hanford?

The Claremont starts at $54,995 turnkey: excavation, the shell, equipment, plumbing, standard freight, 3’ of concrete decking, plans, permitting and taxes. Central Valley pricing. Prices are subject to change based on distance from Hanford, CA. California law caps the down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000, and we bill only for work that is done.

How big is the Claremont, and how much yard does it need?

The shell is 14' x 33' with about 11,700 gallons of water. With the included 3’ deck the footprint is roughly 20' by 39', plus whatever setback your city or county requires from property lines and the house. We confirm the setback and draw the site plan before anything is signed.

How deep is the Claremont?

The Claremont runs from 3'7" in the shallow end to 5'4" at the deep end. Like every fiberglass pool it is not rated for a diving board.

Can I add a tanning ledge or spa to the Claremont?

Yes. Neither is molded into this shell, so we build a standalone fiberglass ledge or spa alongside the pool and show it as its own line on the estimate. The upgrade list on this page has the starting prices.

How long does it take to fill the Claremont?

About 21 hours for 11,700 gallons from a standard garden hose. We start the fill the day the shell is set and plumbed; most projects go from dig to swim-ready in 2–4 weeks once the permit is in hand.

Backed by Latham. Installed by a Grand Dealer.

Latham Pool Grand Builder seal

Neighborhood Pool Service is a Latham Grand Dealer — the top tier of Latham’s dealer network. Your Claremont ships from Latham’s factory. Our licensed local crew installs it to Latham’s specs (CSLB #1139527, verify). And Latham backs the shell with its limited lifetime structural warranty.

California protects pool buyers — and we follow the law to the letter

Under California law (Business & Professions Code §7159), a licensed contractor may collect a down payment of no more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. So no matter the size of your project, we will never ask for more than $1,000 down. And we only bill for work after it is done. If any pool company asks you for a 20–50% deposit up front, that is a red flag. It’s also illegal.

You already know the starting price — it’s printed above. Tell us where the pool is going. We’ll come out, walk the yard, and put a real number in writing. It’s free, and usually done within a couple of days. And if you go ahead, California law caps your down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000.
