Will the Corinthian 14 fit your yard?

The Corinthian 14 shell measures 14' x 30' at the water’s edge. With the 3’ of concrete decking that is already in the price on every side, the finished pad is about 20' by 36' — tape that out in the yard first. Then add the setback: every Central Valley jurisdiction sets its own distance from property lines, the house and any easement, and it comes out of the same yard. We pull the number for your address before the site plan is drawn (permits, explained).

In the 2026 California-built lineup the Corinthian 14 is a mid-size model: 20 of the other 46 models are longer and 23 hold less water. The shell rides in on one truck from Latham’s Williams, CA plant and is set by crane in a single pick, so what we check on the site visit is where the crane can stand, not whether the gate is wide enough.

Depth, seating and who the Corinthian 14 suits

It runs from 3'6" at the entry to 6' at the far end — chest to shoulder deep for most adults, deep enough to feel like real swimming, shallow enough that nobody is out of their depth.

Built into the Corinthian 14: a tanning ledge molded into the shell — a few inches of water for loungers, toddlers and the dog, swim-up seating along the wall so adults can sit in the water and talk, and an auto-cover-ready coping line, so an automatic safety cover fits without a custom track.

Corinthian 14 configurations

The Corinthian 14 is built in a BME configuration as well, the Corinthian 14 BME. It is the same shell — 14' x 30', 8,200 gallons, identical depth — and it publishes $2,000 higher, from $71,995. This page is the standard build and the one most quotes start from; ask us to price the BME instead if your plans call for that SKU by name.

Corinthian 14 vs. the models next to it

The Corinthian 14 is one of 6 Corinthian models built in California this year. Same shape language, different size and price:

ModelSizeDepthVolumeInstalled
Corinthian 1212' x 25'3'6" – 5'5"5,100 galfrom $58,995
Corinthian 12 BME12' x 25'3'6" – 5'5"5,100 galfrom $60,995
Corinthian 14 BME14' x 30'3'6" – 6'8,200 galfrom $71,995
Corinthian 1414' x 30'3'6" – 6'8,200 galfrom $69,995
Corinthian 1615'10" x 40'3'6" – 7'15,400 galfrom $83,995
Corinthian 16 BME15'10" x 40'3'6" – 7'15,400 galfrom $84,995

Stepping up to the Corinthian 16 adds 10' of length and 7,200 gallons for $14,000 more. Against the Corinthian 14 BME, the Corinthian 14 carries 0 more gallons for $2,000 less. Each figure is the installed price, not a shell price, so the gap is real.

Owning a Corinthian 14 in the Central Valley

July and August in Hanford sit above 100°F day after day; an uncovered pool here gives up roughly a quarter inch of water a day. On the Corinthian 14’s roughly 420 square feet of water surface that is on the order of 70 gallons a day in July — the single best argument for an automatic cover on this model (the shell is already cut for one). A cover also holds heat overnight, which matters more on a 8,200-gallon pool than the brochure suggests.

Volume drives running cost. At 8,200 gallons the Corinthian 14 needs about the chlorine and acid a typical Valley pool does, and the first fill takes about 15 hours from a garden hose at 500–600 gallons an hour — we start it the day the shell is set and plumbed. Our own Hanford crew handles the install, the permit and, if you want it, the weekly service afterward.

Corinthian 14 questions

How much does the Corinthian 14 cost installed in Hanford?

The Corinthian 14 starts at $69,995 turnkey: excavation, the shell, equipment, plumbing, standard freight, 3’ of concrete decking, plans, permitting and taxes. Central Valley pricing. Prices are subject to change based on distance from Hanford, CA. California law caps the down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000, and we bill only for work that is done.

How big is the Corinthian 14, and how much yard does it need?

The shell is 14' x 30' with about 8,200 gallons of water. With the included 3’ deck the footprint is roughly 20' by 36', plus whatever setback your city or county requires from property lines and the house. We confirm the setback and draw the site plan before anything is signed.

How deep is the Corinthian 14?

The Corinthian 14 runs from 3'6" in the shallow end to 6' at the deep end. Like every fiberglass pool it is not rated for a diving board.

Does the Corinthian 14 have a tanning ledge?

Yes. The tanning ledge is part of the Corinthian 14 shell itself, not an add-on. A separate spa shell can be built alongside and is quoted as its own line.

How long does it take to fill the Corinthian 14?

About 15 hours for 8,200 gallons from a standard garden hose. We start the fill the day the shell is set and plumbed; most projects go from dig to swim-ready in 2–4 weeks once the permit is in hand.

Neighborhood Pool Service is a Latham Grand Dealer — the top tier of Latham’s dealer network. Your Corinthian 14 ships from Latham’s factory. Our licensed local crew installs it to Latham’s specs (CSLB #1139527, verify). And Latham backs the shell with its limited lifetime structural warranty.

California protects pool buyers — and we follow the law to the letter

Under California law (Business & Professions Code §7159), a licensed contractor may collect a down payment of no more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. So no matter the size of your project, we will never ask for more than $1,000 down. And we only bill for work after it is done. If any pool company asks you for a 20–50% deposit up front, that is a red flag. It’s also illegal.

You already know the starting price — it’s printed above. Tell us where the pool is going. We’ll come out, walk the yard, and put a real number in writing.
