Will the Enchantment 9.21 fit your yard?

The Enchantment 9.21 shell measures 9'1" x 20'7" at the water’s edge. With the 3’ of concrete decking that is already in the price on every side, the finished pad is about 15'1" by 26'7" — tape that out in the yard first. Setbacks are extra: your city or county fixes how far the water must sit from property lines and the house, and on a compact lot that rule usually decides where the pool goes. We look it up before drawing the site plan (how permits work here).

In the 2026 California-built lineup the Enchantment 9.21 is one of the compact models: 41 of the other 46 models are longer and 4 hold less water. It ships as one molded piece from Latham’s Williams, CA plant and a crane lowers it into the hole, so a narrow side yard is not the problem people expect — the crane reaches over the fence.

Depth, seating and who the Enchantment 9.21 suits

The floor is flat at 4'9" from end to end. Every swimmer stands everywhere, laps are the same depth the whole way, water aerobics work in any spot, and an automatic cover glides over a rectangle with no deep-end surprises.

Built into the Enchantment 9.21: a tanning ledge molded into the shell — a few inches of water for loungers, toddlers and the dog, and an auto-cover-ready coping line, so an automatic safety cover fits without a custom track.

Enchantment 9.21 vs. the models next to it

The Enchantment 9.21 is one of 3 Enchantment models built in California this year. Same shape language, different size and price:

ModelSizeDepthVolumeInstalled
Enchantment 9.179'1" x 17'5"4'9" uniform3,200 galfrom $45,995
Enchantment 9.219'1" x 20'7"4'9" uniform4,000 galfrom $48,995
Enchantment 9.249'1" x 23'10"4'9" uniform4,800 galfrom $51,995

Stepping up to the Enchantment 9.24 adds 3'3" of length and 800 gallons for $3,000 more. Against the Enchantment 9.17, the Enchantment 9.21 carries 800 more gallons for $3,000 more. Same turnkey basis on every line, so the numbers compare straight across.

Owning an Enchantment 9.21 in the Central Valley

Hanford runs past 100°F for weeks every summer, and an uncovered pool can lose around a quarter inch of water a day to evaporation. On the Enchantment 9.21’s roughly 190 square feet of water surface that is on the order of 30 gallons a day in July — the single best argument for an automatic cover on this model (the shell is already cut for one). A cover also holds heat overnight, which matters more on a 4,000-gallon pool than the brochure suggests.

Volume drives running cost. At 4,000 gallons the Enchantment 9.21 needs a fraction of the chemicals a 15,000-gallon pool does, and the first fill takes about 7 hours from a garden hose at 500–600 gallons an hour — we start it the day the shell is set and plumbed. Our own Hanford crew handles the install, the permit and, if you want it, the weekly service afterward.

Enchantment 9.21 questions

How much does the Enchantment 9.21 cost installed in Hanford?

The Enchantment 9.21 starts at $48,995 turnkey: excavation, the shell, equipment, plumbing, standard freight, 3’ of concrete decking, plans, permitting and taxes. Central Valley pricing. Prices are subject to change based on distance from Hanford, CA. California law caps the down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000, and we bill only for work that is done.

How big is the Enchantment 9.21, and how much yard does it need?

The shell is 9'1" x 20'7" with about 4,000 gallons of water. With the included 3’ deck the footprint is roughly 15'1" by 26'7", plus whatever setback your city or county requires from property lines and the house. We confirm the setback and draw the site plan before anything is signed.

How deep is the Enchantment 9.21?

The Enchantment 9.21 has a flat 4'9" floor from end to end.

Does the Enchantment 9.21 have a tanning ledge?

Yes. The tanning ledge is part of the Enchantment 9.21 shell itself, not an add-on. A separate spa shell can be built alongside and is quoted as its own line.

How long does it take to fill the Enchantment 9.21?

About 7 hours for 4,000 gallons from a standard garden hose. We start the fill the day the shell is set and plumbed; most projects go from dig to swim-ready in 2–4 weeks once the permit is in hand.

Backed by Latham. Installed by a Grand Dealer.

Latham Pool Grand Builder seal

Neighborhood Pool Service is a Latham Grand Dealer — the top tier of Latham’s dealer network. Your Enchantment 9.21 ships from Latham’s factory. Our licensed local crew installs it to Latham’s specs (CSLB #1139527, verify). And Latham backs the shell with its limited lifetime structural warranty.

California protects pool buyers — and we follow the law to the letter

Under California law (Business & Professions Code §7159), a licensed contractor may collect a down payment of no more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. So no matter the size of your project, we will never ask for more than $1,000 down. And we only bill for work after it is done. If any pool company asks you for a 20–50% deposit up front, that is a red flag. It’s also illegal.

You already know the starting price — it’s printed above. Tell us where the pool is going. We’ll come out, walk the yard, and put a real number in writing. It’s free, and usually done within a couple of days. And if you go ahead, California law caps your down payment at the lesser of 10% or $1,000.
