Will the Delray fit your yard?
The Delray shell measures 11'10" x 25'5" at the water’s edge. With the 3’ of concrete decking that is already in the price on every side, the finished pad is about 17'10" by 31'5" — tape that out in the yard first. Setbacks are extra: your city or county fixes how far the water must sit from property lines and the house, and on a compact lot that rule usually decides where the pool goes. We look it up before drawing the site plan (how permits work here).
In the 2026 California-built lineup the Delray is one of the compact models: 34 of the other 46 models are longer and 22 hold less water. It ships as one molded piece from Latham’s Williams, CA plant and a crane lowers it into the hole, so a narrow side yard is not the problem people expect — the crane reaches over the fence.
Depth, seating and who the Delray suits
The floor is flat at 4'6" from end to end. Every swimmer stands everywhere, laps are the same depth the whole way, water aerobics work in any spot, and an automatic cover glides over a rectangle with no deep-end surprises.

Stepping up to the Claremont adds 7'7" of length and 3,600 gallons for $2,000 more. Against the Olympia 12, the Delray carries 500 more gallons for $3,000 more. Same turnkey basis on every line, so the numbers compare straight across.
Owning a Delray in the Central Valley
Hanford runs past 100°F for weeks every summer, and an uncovered pool can lose around a quarter inch of water a day to evaporation. On the Delray’s roughly 300 square feet of water surface that is on the order of 50 gallons a day in July — the single best argument for an automatic cover on this model (the shell is already cut for one). A cover also holds heat overnight, which matters more on a 8,100-gallon pool than the brochure suggests.
Volume drives running cost. At 8,100 gallons the Delray needs about the chlorine and acid a typical Valley pool does, and the first fill takes about 15 hours from a garden hose at 500–600 gallons an hour — we start it the day the shell is set and plumbed. Our own Hanford crew handles the install, the permit and, if you want it, the weekly service afterward.

How big is the Delray, and how much yard does it need?
The shell is 11'10" x 25'5" with about 8,100 gallons of water. With the included 3’ deck the footprint is roughly 17'10" by 31'5", plus whatever setback your city or county requires from property lines and the house. We confirm the setback and draw the site plan before anything is signed.
How deep is the Delray?
The Delray has a flat 4'6" floor from end to end.
Can I add a tanning ledge or spa to the Delray?
Yes. Neither is molded into this shell, so we build a standalone fiberglass ledge or spa alongside the pool and show it as its own line on the estimate. The upgrade list on this page has the starting prices.
How long does it take to fill the Delray?
About 15 hours for 8,100 gallons from a standard garden hose. We start the fill the day the shell is set and plumbed; most projects go from dig to swim-ready in 2–4 weeks once the permit is in hand.

California protects pool buyers — and we follow the law to the letter
Under California law (Business & Professions Code §7159), a licensed contractor may collect a down payment of no more than $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less. So no matter the size of your project, we will never ask for more than $1,000 down. And we only bill for work after it is done. If any pool company asks you for a 20–50% deposit up front, that is a red flag. It’s also illegal.
